Featured in Media: Civil Engineering Meets NanoBio, Johns Hopkins Engineering Magazine, Winter 2009. http://engineering.jhu.edu/news-publications/winter09-all.pdf Lindsey Smith was featured in a NanoBio focused article which discussed the convergences of civil engineering approaches to structures, cells, and nanobiotechnology. Lindsey states that, in her work, she studies how evolution has designed the structural elements in the cell.
