First annual cellular engineering symposium
First Annual Symposium: In May, the ICE IGERT program will sponsors its first annual cellular engineering symposium. Each year, the symposium committee selects a theme based on emerging, cutting-edge topics. This year’s symposium, Frontiers of Cellular Imaging, has already attracted more than 250 attendees from academic, industry, government, and hospital research laboratories and presents the perfect backdrop for trainee professional development and research exposure. Trainees will listen to presentations delivered by imaging pioneers who are pushing the envelopes of cellular imaging research. Fifteen trainees will present in the symposium poster session. A concluding social reception will facilitate interdisciplinary interaction and the free exchange of ideas.
