Human-computer interface using skin stretch
Co-PI Provancher and Trainee Brian Gleeson have developed a human-computer interface using skin stretch. A variety of tasks could benefit from the availability of direction cues that do not rely on vision or sound, such as guidance while driving.
This paper won a Best Paper award at World Haptics 2009.
