Re-establishing nanoparticle electronic device fabrication
In conjunction with collaborators in the Hutchison Lab (UO Chemistry), IGERT trainee Matt Fairbanks of the Richard P. Taylor lab (UO Physics), has worked to re-establish nanoparticle electronic device fabrication capabilities for his IGERT project. "Coordinating a complicated fabrication procedure between labs has been challenging, but I have learned and implemented the techniques needed to complete my portion of the device fabrication procedure (nanoscale lithography on SiO2/Si wafers). With this in place, we expect to complete nanoparticle devices ready for electron transport measurements within the reporting period," Fairbanks reports.
