Achievement

The two research groups working on Trading Agent Competition (TAC) teams submitted the ‘agent’ results of their projects in the Trading Agent Competition in June and July 2008. The joint UM-WSU TAC team designed the OrangePC agent that participated in the 2008 Supply Chain Trading Agent Competition - Procurement Challenge. The agent placed first in the qualifying rounds and 3rd in the finals. The OrangePC team was composed of four REU students mentored by IGERT trainee Thomas Carroll and supervised by IGERT faculty Daniel Grosu.
