U of Michigan teams excel at Trading Agent Competition
In the same 2008 Trading Agent Competition, the DeepMaize team championed the main competition and placed second in the prediction challenge. The 2008 DeepMaize team consisted of University of Michigan student Lee Callender and IGERT Trainee Patrick Jordan. In the second year of the Market Design competition, the University of Michigan placed second with a revamped MANX agent. The MANX team consists of two REU students and IGERT trainee Patrick Jordan. Both teams were supervised by IGERT faculty Michael Wellman.
