Achievement

Professor Fred Wudl taught a new graduate course (Chem 209) on the interdisciplinary approaches to energy conversion. IGERT Fellows enjoyed the course and a typical comment was: The Chem 209 class was great for me to understand a lot of the issues facing energy conversion research. It made me realize that an interdisciplinary approach is critical to solving the problems, as there is a need for improvements from a basic science level all the way up to device manufacturing.
