Other Integrative Activities The ABS-IGERT features many educational fora in which faculty and students from each of our 10 participating departments can come together to discuss and learn about our two overarching themes: Ecological Functions and Biodiversity, and Communities and Governance. Three of these include the Ecological Integration Symposium, the ABS Seminar and Speaker Series, and the ABS Journal Club. Statistics on attendance to ABS-IGERT events: 17 seminars and workshops, 9 of those were outside speakers; Average attendance was 27; 86% of total attendance was from 4 departments
