Achievement

IGERT professors continue to co-teach two interdisciplinary courses to students interested in fluid dynamics across several different departments. The first course: Interdisciplinary Fluid Dynamics is taught by Professors Nikitopoulos (Mechanical Engineering), Tohline (Physics), Tyagi (Petroleum Engineering) and Li (Oceanography). The second course: Interdisciplinary Computational Methods is team taught by Professors Acharya (Mechanical Engineering), Bourdin (Mathematics) and Allen (Computer Science). These courses have attracted students from an array of different departments.
