Student-faculty publish global climate change paper
Students and faculty in the Coastal Institute IGERT Project (CIIP) published in the peer-reviewed journal Ecology and Society a comprehensive, multidisciplinary assessment of the impact of global climate change to lagoon ecosystems in eastern and southern United States. The review paper articulates how changes in sea level, storminess, and air/water temperature will affect lagoons, and how these effects will impact the ecology of these systems as well as human values.
