IGERT Story

Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Research presented at International Conference

Description

This year’s Experimental Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Conference was exciting because the 15th Laukien Prize winner was Clare Grey (University of Cambridge) for her work in batteries. Yvonna Leung (Scripps College) presented the results from our Summer 2012 collaboration with Bryan Thines (W. M. Keck Science Department of Claremont-Pitzer-Scripps Colleges) during an afternoon poster session. This year was the 100th anniversary of the Asilomar, designed by architect Julia Morgan (University of California, Berkeley), a pioneering women in STEM.
