IGERT at Entomology
Description:
I just returned from a trip to Reno, Nevada where I presented my IGERT-related research at the 59th annual meeting of the Entomological Society of America. My poster titled, Interactions between the Arctic mosquito (Aedes nigripes) and predaceous diving beetles (Colymbetes dolabratus) in snowmelt ponds near Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, was presented on Wednesday, November 16th to an audience of entomologists from all around the globe. Entomology, like all IGERTs, is very interdisciplinary. Check out Dartmouth’s IGERT blog, http://dartmouthigert.wordpress.com/, for more on this.
