IGERT faculty member Meredith Kelly, a geologist and paleoclimatologist, is interviewed by the online magazine for teenaged girls, Rookie, about climate change, travel to Antarctica and Greenland, and her abiding interest in science.
Professor Kelly accompanied the first Dartmouth IGERT cohort to Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, for the annual interdisciplinary field seminar for IGERT students in earth sciences, ecology & evolutionary biology, and engineering. Kelly’s research is in Antarctica, Peru, and Greenland, where she studies glacial and sedimentary evidence of the Earth’s climate.
