IGERT Trainees Ryan Thorpe (Physics, Rutgers), Aleksandra Biedron (CCB, Rutgers) and Shoham Bhadra (Chemistry, Princeton) were selected to participate in the First Materials Research School of the Joint US-Africa Materials Institute (JUAMI) held at Addis Ababa University, December 9-21, 2012.
