Trainees present findings at symposium
IGERT Trainee Trish Jackson (geography) presented research conducted in coordination with IGERT Faculty members Greg Cushman (environmental history) and Johan Feddema (geography/climatology) on "Environmental Portents, Enslavement, and the Extinction of Easter Island's Birdmen, 1862-88." They presented their findings during the Symposium on Climate and Human History in the Southern Hemisphere: From Antarctica to the Andes to Easter Island held at the University of Kansas in February 2010.
