Distribution of Dengue fever
Similarly, Trainee Amy Henry is involved in a remarkable research program as result of a collaboration initiated through our IGERT project between University of Hawaii and Duke-National University of Singapore (Duke-NUS) Graduate Medical School in Singapore. She will be completing her doctoral research based at Duke-NUS. During the past year she became the first researcher at Duke-NUS to obtain permission from the Government of Singapore to access data on the distribution and abundance of Dengue fever es. She is now coordinating a multi-institutional collaboration involving the Singapore Environmental Health Institute and Singapore Ministry of Health to implement a monitoring program of Dengue outbreaks in Singapore.
