Fieldwork leads to new course on conservation
IGERT trainee Tim Baird incorporated his experiences and perspectives gained from two years of fieldwork in Tanzania into a new course on "Environmental Conservation. The Connected Lives of Cheetahs, Clouds, Corn, and Communities" (GEOG 112), which is now offered at UNC-CH and taught by Mr. Baird. This represents IGERT influence/opportunity for undergraduate students.
