Probabilistic Models in Perception and Cognition course
A first group of IGERT trainees are now completing the IGERT foundational course developed by Alan Stocker, Probabilistic Models in Perception and Cognition. As example of the added value of this course, IGERT trainee Nicu Stiurca (an engineering trainee) is drawing on ideas from the course to develop a new probabilistic method for the estimation of attitude of a micro UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle).
