Neural mechanisms of object recognition in primates
IGERT associate Drew Jaegle (Neuroscience), as a result of a presentation given by IGERT associate Noam Roth in our weekly integrative seminar, formed a hypothesis about intermediate visual representations that could support experimental findings about the neural mechanisms of object recognition in primates. As a result, he is planning a cross-disciplinary research rotation with IGERT Engineering faculty Daniilidis to develop an algorithmic implementation of this hypothesis.
