Achievement

IGERT Associate Alexis Reed presented a poster titled, ‘Keeping Our Forests Forested: The History of US Forest Service Policy,’ at the 2009 Annual University of Kansas Graduate Research Competition. Her poster traces US Forest Service policy history through changing US Interior Department administrations and how those changes shaped and reshaped forest management policies; she examined the efforts being made today to develop a comprehensive forest management policy to address the impact of climate change.
